In the classic animated series Voltron, space explorers were specially trained to bring the defender of the universe to Earth. These five specially trained pilots commanded robot lions which combined to form Voltron. The pilots used these machines to protect the planet Arus from the evil Warlord King Zarkon and witch Haggar who created Robeasts to terrorize the planet ruled by Princess Allura.
